http://linuxdevices.com/articles/AT9296154631.htmlMooBella has put Linux to work making ice cream, in a vending machine that Wallace and Gromit would be proud of. The MooBella vending machine uses Linux 2.4 and a Red Hat filesystem to make 96 varieties of ice cream, on demand, in about 45 seconds per precisely-measured serving.
I wonder if work would let me have one of these in my office![]()

I will allow one into my school, so long as its installed in the IT Office and we are the only users authorised to use it
No doubt you can install samba on it and intergrate it with AD so I guess thats covered.![]()

Great idea Geoff, set it to only allow Domain Admins to authenticate on it!
On a really sad note, the Douwe Egberts coffee machine can have a WIFI or wired connection to re-order supplies, and tell you when its run out! Just like printers and copiers!
How much would one of those set you back to get and could it double up as Air conditioning ?
Just that would be so useful in the summerhehe Any pricing info would be great

I'll wait for the second edition that includes a flake
