vsftpd change to / from windows explorer
Ive got vsftpd installed and ive got chroot home dir disabled for my user to let me browse all across the server, ive checked the its disabled for me by checking with a ordinary ftp client and i can change directory to / by using that.
The problem is i need to use Windows Explorer in some places where installing a FTP Client is not really a good idea but it defaults to my home directory when i login with my user and i dont seem to be able to change directory from there to anything else either by changing the url or by clicking go to parent directory (I get a 550: Failed to change directory) ive also tried creating a symlink to root but that didnt work either.
So does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Jack
