    power down headless system

Hi I'm running Clarkconnect at home and I would like to be able to power down the system using the power button as in the soft touch in XP as I have no monitor or keyboard on this machine,is this possible in Linux?

Clarkconnect is based on Red Hat vesion & I think if that makes a differance

Why not just SSH in and use the shutdown command. That's the better way to shutdown a server.

Install 'acpid' and enable the 'powerbutton' event handler.
