Odd time of night to be installing Asterisk. But anyway...
It sounds like the Boot CD is using a monitor resolution/refresh rate your monitor doesn't like. I suggest you check the boot options the Boot CD is using and see if there's a a way to change it (For example on Ubuntu boot CD's you can hit one of the function keys and tell it to run in text only mode rather than try and do framebuffer/SVGA).
Alternatively, use a different monitor. Ironically, you're likely to have more luck with a old 15" CRT than a modern LCD.
If it's not the monitor, then there's some confusion with the graphics card, again there should be boot options to alter how it's detected and behaves.
Failing that, try another graphics card. Again something old and crusty is your best bet. An Nvidia TNT2 being my personal favourite.

Well i don't have any CRT monitors so i can't test that i did try on another monitor but no luck i havr no spare graphics cards i will see what i can do when booting from the disc.

Ok im installing using Linux Text mode all seem well so far.
