Printing from ubuntu to a secured windows print server
We have Ubuntu 12.04 machines for our developers - they login over winbind, but our printers are behind a secured windows 2008 print server which requires AD authentication. I've recently setup libpam-mount to automatically mount users' CIFS shares under the home directories successfully, but I can't find any way to automatically authenticate to the windows server via a similar mechanism without pestering the user for their AD login again.
Anyone know how to do this? Is there some libpam-print module I can use for this? Ideally would want to push out the printer config to all the Ubuntu machines using chef, so that we don't have to configure each one manually, so this would need to be all command line/config files, not over the GUI.
