http://www.howtoforge.com/wubi_ubuntu_on_windows
Spotted it while looking through the ubuntu how-tos and thought it could be extreamly useful. Havnt used it so i cant vouche for its stability. But for newbies to *nix it could be briliant!
All it does is allow 2 host OSs to run on a single partition by use of a virtual HD file.
Another use ive thought of is i use RIS for my "imaging" and really really dont want to go back to Ghost. This obviously presents me with the problem of 2 partitions, 2 OSs.
With the above i can (hopefully) deploy the ubuntu installer through AD, and then copy over a pre-made virtual HD, abit like Ghost for windows.
