    NIS Client FreeBSD

I know this is the *nix forum but there's no *BSD forum so here goes...

I've got a NIS server setup on a FreeBSD box following the instructions on the freeBSD online manual.

I setup the master server on one machine and a setup another machine to act as the client. Both freeBSD...the client shows the user that i'd setup into my /var/yp/master.password on the NIS master box when you run the command
    Code:
    ypcat passwd
But when i try and login to the client using the NIS user it doesnt work as if there's no user.

Any ideas for anything i could have missed or that i need to do?

    Cheers....
