    wbinfo -t Trust secret fails

    Hi,

Im just trying to setup squid and dansguardianwith ntlm auth.

When trying to connect to the internet it asks for a username and password but cant find any that work.

If i run wbinfo -t It says the trust secret for domain sch via rpc failed
    failed to call wbcCheckTrustCredentials: WBC_ERR_WINBIND_NOT_AVAILABLE.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Check Windows / Active Directory is set to allow Samba clients to authenticate - there's some default setting that stops Samba authenticating with Windows Server 2008 onwards.
