Why do children need a giant police button on a web browser?
Anyone using or intending to use the child friendly browser?
I've been using the combination on my machine here and at my last school for about 9 months and never seen anything, but then I never have to actually use ePortal - I've always held back just in case there's something I've not seen before. Now they officially support it, though, I can roll out IE8 (will try for the child-friendly version) and know that Serco support can't blame that for any problems we might be having :D
Got a response...

Thank you for the enquiry. Microsoft are currently developing a solution
that will allow the browser to be deployed to multiple machines. This
should be available in the near future. As soon as I have further
details I will let you know.
Update:
mailto:Nicholas.Harlow@ceop.gsi.gov.uk sent me the following:
I've not tried any of these yet.Quote:

If you are able to let me know how many computers the browser is uploaded to, that would be really helpful.
