Unlocking Innovation: Working With UK Public Sector Information And Data
So it is finally here:
Quote:
Advised by Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Professor Nigel Shadbolt and others, government are opening up data for reuse. This site seeks to give a way into the wealth of government data and is under constant development. We want to work with you to make it better.
We’re very aware that there are more people like you outside of government who have the skills and abilities to make wonderful things out of public data. These are our first steps in building a collaborative relationship with you.
The site is currently running as a beta release [if that is the right term]
Looks like it might become something interesting with:
Blog, Data, SPARQL search, Apps, Ideas, Forum, WIKI and Resources headings.
Also has RSS site feed.
The site does look a little under populated at the moment [to be expected I guess as it is so new]
I will be subscribing to the news feed to see what comes of it. What about you?
