    It's the new Twitter 'don'tcher'know'

Well, if you fancy a bit of 'smash the state' that is. Apparently those naughty Wall Street protesters have been using a new messaging client called Vibe which sends anonymous time limited messages. You can read more on it at The Register here: Anonymous Twitter alternative developed for rioters ? The Register and the comments are well worth a read. My favorite so far is:

Yeah, smash the capitalist pigs' system with the aid of your iPhone, then blog about it on your 1500 macbook.
Yup, it's iPhone only (currently). But hey, if it's anonymous who'd want to use that? I thought the whole point of Twitter was that users could say thinks like 'I caused that gridlock in central London when I accidentally Tweeted that the A40 was closed due to an accident when in fact I just saw an old lady drop a bag on a side street off Euston Road and it held up a car for 30 seconds. What a laugh'. Or somesuch.
