Whilst we are (almost) all paying rapt attention to the going's on in the W8 desktop/tablet world, it seems we have let the development of Windows 8 Server slip us by. Supposedly due sometime next year it's about time I felt we should mention it a bit more, so, to wet our collective whistle's here are a few links for you:

Windows 8 Server Milestone 3 (build 7959) leaked | ZDNet
Windows 8 Server Will Support Exclusively 64-Bit (x64) CPUs - Softpedia
And there is still speculation about W8's release date with some saying it will be 2012 and some early 2013, however the server version looks set for a release sometime next year.

Yeh its a pity W8 wont be x64 only but at least W7 x64 is proving how stable and nice x64 is now as well as forcing proper drivers to be made.
