ClearCloud FAQ: ClearCloud DNS - Web Filter
Seems like it could be a good idea [if it works...]...ClearCloud is absolutely free! It's a service provided by Sunbelt Software to promote safe browsing for everyone...
Edit:
I have set up ClearCloudDND on my laptop at home [Windows 7] and visited a known malware website to test the blocking abilities ClearCloudDNS.
Here is the outcome:
Although I must say that Chrome did let me know beforehand that it was not advisable to continue to load the page.

Looks interesting, but their website isn't particularly good. The "What is ClearCloud" page is filled with "Lorem ipsum" text and there are only setup instructions for Windows XP (you have to visit their forums for newer versions).
It would also be nice if they had some kind of OpenDNS/Google DNS/DynDNS Internet Guide vs ClearCloud comparison. At the moment I have no idea whether ClearCloud is better or worse than the alternative DNS services.

I had spotted that too and I was quite disappointed by the content of the 'What is ClearCloud' page:
Link: What is ClearCloud?
This is an obvious area in which ClearCloud can improve.
That said I haven't changed my DNS settings since creating my OP on the 14th.
Working OK for me then.
