As I am sure yours does also.

Gmail in the uk was already being used by another company that kicked up a stink when goggle moved in.

AFAIK, gmail.com has always worked for googlemail.com addresses, it has only been advertised, marketed and "officially" been googlemail due to the trademark issue.

Mine has always been gmail.com so it makes no difference to me!

Snap im gmail too. my Mrs will be happy as she wanted a gmail not googlemail as "it was too much to type" lol baffling logic i know....

I've had a gmail account since the days of the invite, hadn't used it in years, then I got an Android phone and now it's slowly becoming my number one email address (I have about 5 that I hand out depending on how much I want people to contact me: my hotmail never gets checked )
