    intresting, aslong as the ethical hackers dont use what they are being taught to fund thier uni experience, or worse

    I did several security courses while at university. Courses with the title "Crypto Attacks and Counter measures" or "Topics in Privacy and Security" tended to attract a fair number of people.

    I learnt a great deal about both conventional and unconventional attacks from courses like that. Teaching people how a system can be broken is one of the best ways of figuring out how to fix them and secure them in the future.

    Could make for a nice, simple course from the teacher's point of view - set one assignment: "Break in to the University's marks database and give yourself an A..."
