20th November 2009, 12:01 PM #3 I did several security courses while at university. Courses with the title "Crypto Attacks and Counter measures" or "Topics in Privacy and Security" tended to attract a fair number of people.
I learnt a great deal about both conventional and unconventional attacks from courses like that. Teaching people how a system can be broken is one of the best ways of figuring out how to fix them and secure them in the future.
