Windows 8.1 Update. Month to deploy or no 8.1 patches for you.

TLDR: If you're running Windows 8.1, make sure you deploy the Windows 8.1 Update before May Patch Tuesday or you won't get any security patches until you do.

    Windows 8 and 2012 unaffected.

Shouldn't be a problem... its just an update.. think of it as a fast release sp1... and no one puts an MS OS into production before sp1 do they? (Frankly deploying anything before SP2 is a bit gung-ho)

Says he on his Win7 SP1 box with 92 Hotfixes, most of which are also deployed to end users.
