How long before it print "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot"?

I've often wondered what "hot" meant...

Hot would be 'brewed as close to boiling as possible', as it enhances the flavour.

Obviously, you can't drink it like that though.

It also brings into question why you'd have that specification on a device which can make any flavour appear at any temperature...

I've always taken "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot" to be as opposed to "Tea, Earl Grey Iced" which is something the weird Americans seem keen on.
