You'd have though that the judge would have set out some points which must be stated verbatim, or at least the tone of the text. As it reads, it's as if the judge is endorsing Apple products. Or at least finds them 'cool'.

    Sadly, they'll probably accept that.

You never know, they could get an Apple [the company] hating, super cruel judge who doesn't care how much they're offering.

TBF, the judge DID say they were cool.

Le EDIT: I just checked it... Ariel [Check] No less than 14 point [NO CHECK]

I'm no fancy lawyer... But I always thought 10.5 was less than 14.

Ah, the ruling was 11pt for the website - linked from the front page (that was the change the appeal judge made, as the notice originally was supposed to be entirely on the frontpage).

Maybe they are compensating for the Apple distortion effect. Everything on an Apple is 'at least' half a point more important than it really is, their web devs should have used a PC

Eurgh, this is so childish. If we behaved like this at work we'd get disciplined!!! The more time passes the less likely I am to buy another Apple product. That being said, the iPod really is incomparable, such a shame about the stupidity of the iTunes store...

Spotify...works perfectly with my iPod...put the app on my ipod...pay £10 a month, unlimited music, as opposed to the apple framework, buy every song at a minimum of 69p...if I did that with my spotify playlists, I'd be in debt...heavily

Which is great if you are that into music. TBH, I'm really not. I'll buy maybe 1 or 2 albums a year, if that. Most of the time it's a single song thats stuck in my head that I'll listen to until I'm sick of it then never hear again. I probably spend less than £10 a year on music downloads.

It's brilliant. Apple are so childish it's just funny.

"Yeah, I can put a notice up instantly. But it will take 14 days to take down the old one"

    which can be read as

"Yeah, if we must. I want to keep the other advert/apology up for 2 weeks though".

Grow up, Apple. Steve Jobs v1.0 is rolling in his grave.

Ditto. The first statement smacks of a petulent child being made to apologise by an adult! 2 weeks to re-write a page of the website? Do me a favour. They could re-write the footer notice immediately to make it compliant - it's only editing a bit of page code. If the front page edit is more complicated they then have time to do that. Or they could just put a temporary re-direct in place.

Apple aren't doing themselves any favours at all with this behaviour - it makes them look like brats! I certainly won't be buying any more apple products. If I may have done before I certainly won't now.

They better be careful if they mess this up the next judge may make them include links on the front page to places you can buy the Galaxy tab

I think they should give them a time out in the corner until they do it properly.

Two weeks is a bit long but to be fair they may be using Macs or an iPad and this does sound almost like real work, they may need that long
