application will soon be a web based application using active directory authentication. Had a message from a user that a pupil downloaded the program and used it in his school, as such using AD should help resolve this.

Without sounding funny, Users can download many programs, If they have access to the tools in the first place that's the issue :P
It's kind of like having a password changing software, If anyone can access it. The issue isn't in the software really, but in the config :P But only my two cents.
Or as a quick-fix, Add a line to test what OU users are in, but again this wouldn't stop all other software that does the exact same items being used.
Steve

program boosts priveleges to admin level, so that wouldnt matter, if i had it using authentication only people in a certain OU could log in and use it, plus it makes it network deployable easier.

may have to make this a webapp as my skills are not good enough to add in user authentication...

Steve21 is correct. The issue here is not with your program.
What about checking the users privileges as an alternative? This would enable EduGodeMode to work in a non-AD environment too.
Code:whoami /priv | find "SeImpersonatePrivilege"

erm this cant really work as a web app, there are a lot of reasons why really due to the way how IE approaches security as well as other browsers so tbh I have no idea how this could work as web based?

Agreed, I tried last night and I got a whole host of security errors on ie, Chrome etc, and that's running it based out of IIS rather than online.
I may create a simple login feature that you need to do when the app starts, with a username and password predefined and available VIA pm from me.
As for checking privileges, like I say, to run the app needs admin due to the nature of it, and can only run in W7 (this is due to change to add Vista, and xp)

Attached are the screenshots of how it will look now.
Added in the option to choose which OS set is loaded.
Trimmed off the tabs because it was not intuitive.
Added in some basic icons.
Initial tests on XP is fully working...tests on vista and 7 are still in progress (32bit atleast).
Thoughts?

Would you guys like some office functionality? (eg click button for outlook, word, powerpoint etc?)
What about an Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device so we can quickly get from Point A to Point B ..
Useful for those "Have you got a sec?" moments...
