Strange Situation
For the past 2 weeks at period 5 on a monday afternoon. our network seems to go down. so today we went round all classrooms to see if anyone had created a loop by plugging a network lead into two points. we then got to a classroom where the students were using laptops, the area we have had problems before. i used my phone to locate any active wifi points in that area and found that there was a wifi signal that i hadnt seen before. it was a students name and wifi on the end. i thought this was a little strange and asked him to turn it off and like magic our network came back to life, could anyone explain how a personal hot spot site may of killed our network or is it something completely different?
