RM network with Vanilla Network
Hi
I have a problem - the way the network is setup at my school is that the Admin have a network and the staff/pupils have a network on different subnets and different domains.
The problem is that the edu network is RM'd, and the new admin network is going to be Win2k3. Currently the staff have / need access to the admin network aswell as edu network via only two computers. The head wants all staff machines to have access to both networks. How is this possible ? A VPN tunnel ? Or can we stick them both on the same subnet, obviously taking into consideration DHCP?
How would you do it?
Can you create a trust between an RM network and a 2k3 network?
Thanks
Kevin

I'd create a trust between the two you can give the staff laptops a second IPaddress on the same nic for the Admin domain.

We have one integrated CC3 network with admin machines; just the MIS server is a member server of the domain. Bossman will be able to fill you in on the finer points of this.
