VLAN on server 2003
Hi all,
We have a network of about 1000 machines, combined pc's and laptops.
We have just added wireless access points and want to direct all wireless traffic straight to our proxy server and out onto the internet, without any risk to our servers or security.
Have been advised to use VLANs but no experience in them at all in the department.
We run windows 2003 server on a few different servers and the switches which connect the AP switch to the server are a Procurve 2650 and a 3Com 2226.
Could anyone please give some advice on whether VLAN is the best idea, and how would I go about starting with it...
Thanks for your thoughts.
