We have around 40 laptops with the 2200BG cards in them, I will update them all next week if I can.
Thanks for the info.

129MB? Yeesh.
Why can't wireless card manufacturers just post the driver for wireless card seperate to the management software? I don't know about you but I think ProSet is bloody awful. I never install more than just the driver which is generally never more than a couple of megabytes.

Yeah we don't use the software, I'll just be using the update drive wizard in Windows.

Thank God for that! Just set up 29 laptops with these cards... I used the v10 software!!!
I like the PROSet software that comes with these cards - it works very sensibly and you can configure it to do 'pre-logon connect' which waits until the network has been joined and the DCs found before passing the logon info!

I remember we had big problems with the software but that was well over a year and half ago, might have another look at it when I get some free time.

@mullet_man: The software for the older chipsets is absolutely awful and should not be touched with a barge pole!

I know thats why we let Windows deal with the wireless, and just installed the drivers not the software.
But if its got better like you say then it might be something worth checking out when I got a few spare mins.
Thanks.

Good luck!
I gave up with a silent install and ended up manually installing the software and then going in and opening the admin package that I had created with the WPA2 settings in.
