Hi,
Does anyone know if things like trunks, vlans and qos are compatible between procurve and netgear switches? possibly a daft question, but i maybe purchasing a mixture of procurve and netgear in the very near future.

11th June 2009, 10:31 PM #2 Its standard set so providing you give both the Netgear's and procurves a firmware update beforehand they should be ok.
You may want to use LACP though.

11th June 2009, 11:35 PM #3 As Tallwood says as long as you use the industry standard LACP rather than the proptiety vendor ones they should talk fine. Sometimes it can be a bit infuriating to set them up though given differences in different brands default configurations of passive/active and timeouts.
