LogMeIn Alternative - Live Mesh Beta
For those that need remote desktop access and can't setup remote access directly this could provide a good solution. Install the client software on to your work machine and you are able to remote desktop in and sync files between all of the windows pcs that you need to access even through a firewall.
You are able to add multiple computers to the mesh so that you can access them from anywhere, even a Mac.

28th February 2009, 12:51 PM #3 I use it - for the syncing rather than the remote desktop. Keeps my 3 machines in sync (well the parts I want) and the pricing is good :-) With Foxmarks as well I rarely use a memory stick anymore.
I believe they have just released a mac client too...

The images on the site show Mac's so I would assume so.
Thanks SYNACK.

5th March 2009, 10:27 PM #6 I use both. Mesh has given me some interesting faults when connections fail (ask Sysman_MK and ZeroHour how I wiped a chunk of EduGeek stuff from the Mesh!) but they are pretty similar in speed for me so far.
MobileMe MobileMe doesn't bugger me about with the web front end when at work though and blocked from adding the Mesh tools to pull things down or upload.
