I have recently installed Mcafee, after having Sophos. Yesterday I had to ghost some machines and found I was getting errors on the client machine and unable to proceed with the ghosting of the machine.
Well if anyone else has this problem here is the solution.
Mcafee as a standard install puts port blocking on port 6666 incoming and outgoing this is the post that ghost server uses so you have make an exception for ghostsrv.exe or remove the port blocking on 6666.
If this has been reported sorry for repeating

Better solution imo is to get rid of 8.0i and put 7.1 on tbh. I came across the same problem myself and found that apart from the port blocking malarky 8.0i gives you, 7.1 does everything 8.0i does and takes up less system resources while it is doing it.
