Hi everyone, I have made a new account on my Server called Newbuild and ive logged in with that made all then changes i want etc, logged back on as my usual username and then right clicked my computer > properties > Advacned and then User profiles settings and copyed the local account made: Newbuild to the Default User profile and permitted to use is Everyone, I have pointed the Users profiles to come from the Default User which is on the server but seems to not apply any ideas? Thankk Steven,.

Ooh, I remember this happening here and I never really got to the bottom of. It just doesn't happen now and hasn't for some time. I think it may be one of those problems that disappeared around the time we put SP2 or Release 2 on Server 2003...
Not very helpful I know, sorry

7th November 2008, 06:06 PM #4 Hi, Thanks for the replies but ive found what the problem is i dont understand why it does it though but if you login on a machine it creates the profile on there in documents and settings as usual but if like u have 2 usernames in there from the server then it seems to get mixed up and show all sorts of different stuff ive deleted them now and it works fine.
