trying to change the wireless settings on the supplied netgear box. I can access the internet OK wirelessly, but I want to change the SSID and WPA password etc.
When I go to http://192.168.1.1 and enter the default username and password it takes me to http://www.routerlogin.com/byconfig.htm and says "The system cannot find the file specified."
Is there a way of doing this without using the CD?
Aslo, is it the netgear box where I add firewall rules to open ports?
It's just a WGR614 with the username changed from admin to virgin.
Once you're in it's just like normal.

Firefox wasnt letting me do aythign so i tried it in IE.
It took me to a virgin wireless setup page. I changed the default wireless settings, and now I can get into the normal netgear interface
