I am currently trying to get site coverage using 6 APs . Im using Network Stumbler to measure the signal level in each room.
I'm trying to get a green light in each room for at least one AP but would like to be a bit more accurate than that. Im guessing that 30+ on the signal level scale is what im aiming for? Anyone else got any imput on this?

you need 50 or better really.
Also do the AP's auto link? (or do you have to tell them about each other via mac address?). If they don't they will interfere with each other.
Other thing to try is different channels.

I have got them all on different channels. As for getting 50 I think that going to quite hard unless they are in the same room. I shall connect them up properly and see what browsing is like. They arent going to get too hammered only a few laptops on each AP.
