    ADSL router that support V-Lans

    Hi

I am looking for a standard ADSL router that has a few Ethernet ports that will support v-lans. It doesn’t need to be wireless. Can anyone recommend one please?

    Cheers

Draytek do them, I think the 2800 range has it with the latest firmware from when I scanned through the release notes of the new firmware today. But they will have one.

Pricy but very good stuff, easy to work with, there aimed at soho / sme stuff at the higher end so dont expect them to be as shiny and cute as Netgears and D-Link stuff etc but they are very nice bits of kit, I use two at work and a couple elsewhere.

I had a quick look on google and there don't appear to be any apart from a few Cisco routers. VLAN support is more commonly found in switches. I searched D-Link, Netgear and Linksys abd couldn't find a router with VLAN, sorry

You could maybe check out here DD-WRT :: News and see the supported hardware list, see if any are ADSL routers, as the firmware supports VLANs.

Not sure if it works on ADSL routers, never checked myself.

EDIT - Don't think its available on ADSL routers after a quick check on google
