I have setup a IPCOP machine and it has one network card and when i set the proxy settings to the proxy server it says unable to receive a IP for anything on the internet i am not sure if i need to have 2 network cards a Red one pointing to the Router and a Green one for the LAN any ideas?, Thanks Steven.

18th May 2008, 05:54 PM #2 Last time I used IPcop, it wouldn't work in single card mode, you have to have at least 2 interfaces as you say, a red and green.

21st May 2008, 03:28 PM #3 Can't see a one port IPCop being much use, needs to have at least a RED interface (connected to your modem etc), and a GREEN (switch for trusted network). There's also ORANGE (DMZ) and BLUE (Wireless).
