Anyone else finding that from Tuesday onwards certain sites are broken when using proxies to access them? Our Squid box keeps logging 502s for sites like hotmail.com when it tries to redirect to mail.live.com and the search box on www.dabs4work.com doesn't work.
This occurs when testing with the embc proxies as well and the helldesk replicated the issue. It appears to be affecting all schools in Netlinc, though any proxy.
Logging onto the proxy and grabbing a site direct works fine - it appears certain types of POST and redirects are affected.

1st February 2008, 10:56 AM #2 Internet has been fine, though we do manage our own proxy with just the connection from netlinc.
We just seem to be having issues with external e-mail this week..

1st February 2008, 02:46 PM #3 According to the Ramesys helpdesk, It appears that Synetrix asked Affiniti to make a change on Monday evening and that's what caused our issues. We lost all connectivity yesterday at 17:30, which was them rolling back the change.
Helldesk didn't know whether Affiniti had messed up the change or had carried it out correctly and Synetrix were unaware of the implications of what they asked for.
3 days to fix the problem they introduced, not impressed.
