IIS Problems.
Hi.
Im trying to setup the room booking system with some free IIS software that ive found while browsing around the forums.
Ive followed the guide for it to the letter, but whenever i go to view the site itself, either locally or over the network, it just says that the page cannot be found?
Ideas?

Managed to, by playing around to, get something to display, which is a step forward, but the page displays:
DATABASE ERROR
The system could not contact the database.
Please inform your administrator
Close
And also, it only displays from a remote computer, not directly off the IIS server.

This to me means that the ODBC connection has not been setup properly...
I would start by looking there... Im not too up to date on the setup, but something to do with permissions maybe?

Would that question not be better directed at the user forum provided by the site.
Ive never used it, unless someone else on here has.

RE:
We run a two week timetable too, how do you mean duplicate?
As for the days and periods they're completly customizable, via the GUI or database.

As in every 2 weeks the timetable is the same. How would we do that in the program without manually putting in every entry?

In the booking system you can setup weeks, go to Booking System > Admin > Set UP > Block Bookings Week Templates
Hope that helps.

When creating a block booking when you select Week A it'll always appear on the weeks specified in the Week A dates. Likewise for Week B.
When staff book they're booking one period, they're not creating a block booking.
Hope that helps.

You probably fixed it by restarting the IIS service
