I have a slight problem with my cleo vpn, it was set up on my old server, but since I tried moving it all to a new server it doesn't seem to work. I have followed all the cleo documentation and everything seems fine, i have sent the server information off to cleo using the online form.
When i try to connect i can get up to the verifying username and password screen but then it disconnects with a error, saying that my username or password is wrong, but they are the correct username and password using the correct realm after the @ symbol.
Has anyone got any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?
I've checked the laptop settings i'm using and the "use windows domain" is unticked as has been advised to me before.
Story of my life tbh. I tried for ages to get mine to work. Had someone look at it several times. Eventually someone fixed it but I got no explanation as to what they did. That was a test server. When I tried copying the setup with each server on a screen next to each other it didnt bloody work again!!!!! Was getting the same problems as you. Got too frustrated and went and concentrated on other stuff havent touched it since. Worse thing is you do something then I have to wait until I get home to test it very £$%£$£$ annoying as that stretches stuff out for a long time.

What advantages does Cleo VPN have over Windows VPN or router > router VPN?
CLEO = Cumbria and Lancashire Education Online. In other words its our Regional Broadband Consortium.

oh right..
Well, if only everything was as easy to fix as this, turns out all I had to do was start the IAS service on the server.
Doh....
BTW, has one of you two got the setup instructions for the CLEO vpn? I've lost mine and need to fix ours.
Here's the Radius setup guide
the client side document and the client side document for the MS client
thanks
