    Wi-Fi Radio through a LAN

OK, this should be a challenge. I have a rather nice and shiny wi-fi radio which works fine at home via a Netgear router straight out on the internet. Obviously at work this does not happen and what I need is to get it to connect to my workstation via a USB wireless dongle broadcasting a SSID, assign a DHCP adress and route out. I also woll need it to automatically route through my proxy. I.E. Windows provides a routed signal to the radio. There are some conditions though.

    The radio is DCHP only.
You cannot enter a proxy server address manually on the radio.
The radio only works on port 80. Our proxy is on 8080.

Any takers for this challenge,or does anyone know of a small piece of routing software which can be installed locally?

Re: Wi-Fi Radio through a LAN

    Several solutions present themselves.

    1) JumpGate is a TCP connection forwarder that will compile (with Cygwin) under windows.

    http://jumpgate.sourceforge.net/

    2) However, personally, I do this sort of thing on our firewall. It's a linux box so it's quite easy to run Squid transparently and redirect things as required.

    3) If you didn't want to start hacking about on your firewall, you could run SquidNT transparently on your Windows box?
