sanako 1200 flooding switch with traffic
Hi
We have sanako 1200 installing in our Library with 32 machines and it appears to be flooding the switch with traffic so much so that computers will not apply group policy. If the member of staff starts using the program and then a machine is turned on machines they have problems and dont apply settings.
The pc's are new Lenovo a70z all in ones and the switch is a new hp procurve 10/100 switch with 1 gig feed and all the wiring is new as the library was upgraded in September 2011. The controlling pc is plugged into the second gig feed.
If you stop sanako running the problem disappears. We dont have the problem of setting not applying in the rest of the school and dont appear to have it in the Library till Sanako is used. We have turned on spanning tree on the switches as a just in case.
We have replaced the switch with another of the same make/model and still have the same problem.
I have called sanako and am waiting for an answer as the call is being escalated.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Richard
