Problems with wake up and shutdown on CC3 network
Hi Guys, this has been an ongoing issue in our ICT suite for ages now and its one we are baffled with.
Our machines have a schedule on CC3 to run a shutdown of all workstations on site. 1st round is at 7pm when it will attempt to shutdown all workstations which have no one logged on. There is a second wave of shutdowns at 9pm which will force shutdown on remaining stations. All machines are scheduled to restart at 7:30am to allow updates etc.
Majority of the machines now are either not shutting down or waking up correctly and are hanging on just a blue screen with the pointer on the screen and a forced shutdown and restart kicks them off for the day.
Things we have tried
1. Update network drivers (no difference but sorted out our package deploying issue)
2. Swapped tested patch panels and cables to identify layer 1 issue (no joy)
3. Full rebuild on all ICT suite to re synch the local support tools plug in (still no joy)
I am really scratching the head at the moment. Has anyone else came across this?
