Spiceworks information
I'm getting some odd information from Spiceworks. As there are only a few machines switched on (closed due to snow) I thought I'd fill in some more info for them. There is a device named as "teacherlaptop" but the details are for one of the wireless access points (including IP and MAC addresses) That I could understand if the last time the laptop was connected was wirelessly. But Spiceworks has put the device into the wrong Active Directory Group, which of course cannot be edited to put into the right group.
I just wondered how Spiceworks collects the data and how it decides where to put the devices.
