Sharing Outlook over network options
Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right forum for this, if not can somone shift this post thanks :)
I am looking for the best solution for our office e-mail.
We have 5 PCs any of which can be used by different staff. At the moment I use Publicsharefolder which allows 3 of our PCS to share the same outlook .pst file. This means that we can share the Contacts/Calender and mail.
We just use one e-mail address between the staff.
I am aware that exchange does all of this but i am wondering if there are any opensource or cheap alternatives, Public sharefolder is a bit nuisance and we are looking to expand the licences to all 5 PCs which is more money on a program I would like to get out of.
In an ideal world I would like the staff to be able to log into any of the 20 PCs in the building to access their mail. I am aware that we could go a webamil route but We want to be able to access the mail when our ADSL drops which it does every blue moon.
We run a Windows 2003 server but I also have an Ubuntu server running Dansguardian for Content filtering. All of the workstations are on XP
Any help as always will be greatfully recieved.
Cheers
