Couldn't afford it but pushed and secured Impero here.
Cant imagine being without it really and use it for stuff you wouldn't really think about like:
Turn Pcs on before lessons and turning them off at the end.
Disable the internet, printing, sound with ease.
Makes controlled assessments a doddle.
I have installed LANSchools I have a quote from them for a site licence for just short of £4,000. I dont think that is too bad a price but like alot people have said the teachers do not use it even though they request it.
It is really good software (not as many functions as Impero) but if they are not going to use it i might as well put the money to some good use else where in the school. Our Demo has been on a week now so we have another 3 weeks if they dont use it in them 3 weeks then were going for Itcal which is free.
I have got to get Impero for one of my schools as the IT teacher there is very keen with it been a PRU so i look forward to installing that. :)
Thanks Guys for all your adivce.
Hi Julie, NetSupport School provides what you're looking for, has a free 30 day trial. Also has assessment tools built in, revision aids and technician tools. All included as standard. I can point you in the direction of schools in your area who are currently using it if needed.
I hope you could as you work for netsupport :)
