Hi, does anyone else have the same problem as me? ... I can install ABTutor and use it perfectly fine for months, then all of a sudden it looses connection to all computers. To fix this i have to reinstall it on every computer which is very time consuming and quite hard to do considering the computer rooms in the school are used nearly all the time.
Any help would be hugely appreciated
This is often simply down to bad Reverse DNS data in the AD Integrated DNS Zone.
Eg the client has one IP address in the forward zone and a different one or duplicates in the reverse zone.
Before pulling your hair out make sure that the clients are correctly registered in your DNS zones.
Make sure that your DHCP and DNS are configured properly so they keep themselves updated.
