As the title suggests really.
Ive just re-imaged a ICT suite and given the machines new names. In impero im seeing the old machines and the new machines in the console?
The old machines show up as disconnected but i dont want them to show up at all as technically they dont exist anymore. In the impero server console I can see the client ID's and the only option for the workstations no longer in use is to uninstall impero or force an update. . .

What If i want to re-image machines and give them the same name...

20th July 2012, 03:24 PM #4 It doesn't matter IIRC? I'm sure I have rebuilt machines and reused names and it's worked it out OK

20th July 2012, 03:40 PM #7 If you've got 3502 you can click on the Impero logo in the very top left corner of the console and use the Client Cleanup utility... but that mostly removes machines that haven't contacted after x number of days.

As said remove clients by using clean up wizard or right clicking in entire network and choosing remove from group. If reimage do not worry Impero will sort itself out etc over the naming sode.
