different teachers on the master
Hi there,
I have installed Italc in a couple of rooms now, using the admin account ; no real problem at that stage but I've found out that the settings (rooms and computers) are not kept for the other teachers. Anyone knows how to sort this out? Thanks in advance for the replies.

Re: different teachers on the master
What you will want to do is create a read only share for those teachers and place the globalconfig.xml file that contains your computers and classes into this share. Next, you're going to need to set the registry on every Master so that iTalc goes to that location instead of localy.
The registry location is here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\iTALC Solutions\iTALC\paths
Create a chaine value named "globalconfig" and put in the location of the file "\\SERVERNAME\SHARE\globalconfig.xml"
The same can be done for personalconfig.xml also but I have yet to successfuly make it work because it gives an error. It's too bad since the alternative is copying the files manually. Personalconfig is useful since it keeps the computer sorting information, instead of having the displayed computers all over the place, so it saves alot of manual sorting, resizing, and headaches.
