PaperCut Web Page Interface
Hello,
I am trying to configure the user login interface on PaperCut for staff to release their print jobs manually when printing to a certain printer. Ideally what I'd like is to have the default log in page go straight to the 'Jobs Pending Release' page, instead of the 'Summary' page. I cannot find an option for this anywhere in the PaperCut admin options, has anyone managed to do this or successfully redirect it to a different page other than 'Summary'?
Thanks.

30th June 2011, 01:44 PM #2 not sure if its possible, but how about having a link that goes directly to the jobs pending page, which i would assume when they click on will ask them to login to papercut, and then show them the direct page, rather than them using the default login page
you know if the default login page is http://server:9090/ which forwards on to http://server:9090/default.php but you want them to see http://server:9090/jobs.php then create a link to jobs.php for staff which should still ask for them to login as its inside the authentication area, but then should show them that page instead of default.php

Thanks for the replies.
When I try logging in via http://server:9191/release it just goes to the Summary page, can't seem to find a way to get it to go straight to the Jobs Pending Release page as soon as it logs in.

That should be sending you to the jobs release page - it does for me here. Maybe log a request with Papercut support?

1st July 2011, 12:27 PM #7 You need to add the users to the release station admins
Log in as admin, Options tab
Scroll down to: Hold/Release Queues
Add the users you need to the text box and separate with a comma
Then when the users go to http://server:9191/release it should work nicely
Cheers

Thanks, however are the users then able to cancel/release other users jobs? Was just hoping for them to only be able to release their own.
