    Network Inventory ... How?

    Hi,
    We have been told that we have to get the following information for next week.

    PC Name, Serial, CPU Details, Memory, HDD.

    Any ideas [preferable free]

    Yup, Spiceworks will definitely do it, another good one is openAudit.

    Topic covered many times on here, one easy option I use is a script on logon that collects all that info and places it in a csv file. Job done. Search on here and I think there is the scripts to do that. Just cant think at the moment who did it.

    I have found SpiceWorks often reports false information.

    we use 10-Strike Network Inventory Explorer to inventory all the hardware and software Network Inventory Software: Audit and Track Network Computer Inventory (Hardware & Software) for Windows
