    Uninstalling Ranger Remote disables netlogon

Iíve just unallocated Ranger Remote Control 10.1 from a room and now I canít logon to any clients when I try I receive an error saying the netlogon is not started, Iíve checked and it isnít. A reboot doesnít solve it and manually starting netlogon fails.

    Has anyone had this issue?

    All stations are XP SP3.

    Thanks.

    Is workstation running / enabled?
Has Netlogon got any ranger-related dependencies still hanging around? (sc qc netlogon)

An affected station shows the same dependencies as a non ranger station.

    Workstation is running.

That or give them a call and see if they can help further

I know the first link says about installing but am wondering if it knackers up the tcp/ip stack after un-installation

I'll take a look at the links thanks I didn't see the network error when I looked. I can't ring them as we didn't renew the support due to the fact we're going to stop using it and uninstall it

This link worked cheers, didn't see it on the Ranger/AMI/whatever they're now called this week site

Oh right - didn't know about the support ending

No problem - glad it worked.
