Strange pc

All,
I have just had a pc in a classroom (just like the rest in the classroom and from the same image), Start allowing anyone anywhere on the internet!
Doesnt matter who logs on youtube etc is available.
If the same person logs onto another machine you tube is blocked(talking about pupils here).
So its somehting to do with the machine. But what?
Virus? comes up clean.
We copy the pupil profile on the machines as the default profile so that if it doesnt pull it down from the server, they still get the pupil profile. I have re done that.
no other proxies are entered in IE.
So any ideas?

i ahd one like that once turned out somehow that single ip address had an unfiltered connection rigth though the lea isp to the outside world same settings as every other pc but i needed no login code to open up pages etc. reserved that ip in dhcp to a fake mac address then redid the pcs ip so it got a fresh one problem disappeared

How do you filter the internet? Maybe someone has accidently set a different permission for that specific machine?

We use smoothwall School guardian.
I am looking into the ip angle at the mo as I suspect that is it.

Odd, as the whole point of Smoothwall (or any similar system) is that it sits between client machines and the Internet, nothing can get to the Internet without going through Smoothwall. If checking the filter-by-IP-address settings on Smoothwall doesn't help, maybe someone has installed some kind of as-yet-unknown proxy utility on the client - time to reimage the machine?
