iTALC host name
At a Boys & Girls Club, I have iTALC running on our XP SP3 machines - everything works by specifying an IP address, but no connection by host names (BGCFC-Lab-1, etc) which were created with FOG. It makes no difference whether I'm connected to the domain or not.
My DNS is running on an eBox server and seems to work just fine -- I can browse to Fog.BGCFC instead of using the Fog IP address.
Any suggestions on some things i could look into? Since all of the clients will be imaged regularly with the same image, a static IP won't be sufficient.
Ideas?

It seems someone tried to post this - I don't see it showing up for some reason:
Have you placed an exception in your firewall for iTalc?
Yes - I've tried with an exception and with the firewall off on both the client and the master. Further, the program works correctly by IP - just not with hostname.
Any other suggestions?

You first need to check a couple of things.
When you send a ping command based on computernames, does it return a reply?
Are the pc's correctly registered in your DNS server?
