We are using the Viglen Classlink sysem on our network and I have an issue with icons not being placed in the taskbar when logging on as a student.

I have recently installed Smart Notebook 10 in our IT suite and when staff log on they are able to hide the annoying floating toolbar by right-clicking on the icon in the taskbar.

When students log on, they do not have the icon and so cannot get rid of the floating toolbar.

Viglen say they don't know what to do but they must have written something into their software that prevents icons showing in the student taskbar!

I would also like to put the volume icon in the taskbar for students as well.

Anyone else using this system? Do you know what I need to do?
