A multimedia title, which was made and worked fine in admin account using crated shortcut but which, is not working from other user account. I have added the group who can use this title in RMMC still I got problem. (no need any installation programme work only with CD).
Thanks
What do you mean, sorry?(no need any installation programme work only with CD).
If it's running from the disc, do the other accounts have permission to run executables or such?
If you can explain more I'll try to help you out, as I am sure others will.
Also post any error messages you're getting and perhaps the title.
Thank for your interesting
Programme which need only VCD image to play, I have made VCD image and added to cd rom database and work fine from icon made in shortcut library after allocated to work station. I can access this programme in any work station with only in admin account, but not working in any other user name. I tried with software restriction but no success.
I got error message please insert CD (for title 1)
And other message is ‘unable to copy the driver file c:\windows\xobglu16.dll to your windows directory (this is the error for title 2)
Thanks
For title 2 - When you run the CD it tries to install a file to the C drive. You will need to create a package to put the files there.
Is the shortcut for title 1 mounting the VCD?
It needs to look something like this:
"C:\Program Files\H+H\Virtual CD 4\System\vcdcmd.exe" /i V:\Pilote1\Pilote1.vc4 U: /x U:\StartMe.exe

@Edu-IT:
VCD is so much last years fashion, a multimedia server where you create an image from the cd and mount it with the shortcut created automatically to push out to your groups that is where it's at.
RM actually do this at a cost.![]()

You've lost me. Are you telling me that I should be doing it another way?

@Edu-IT:
Apologies for running off at a tangent but this is what RM have done for CC3 I don't know if they have the same thing for CC4.![]()

They're still using Virtual CD in CC4.
